About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Odorization Field Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of odorization systems for natural gas pipelines. The Odorization Field Specialist should have a strong background in electronic or mechanical abilities, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and exhibit excellent communication skills, especially in written and verbal forms. Strong math skills, methodical thinking, the ability to work under pressure, and a capacity to work independently are essential for this role. Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of odorization systems in the field.
-Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system modifications or upgrades as needed.
-Respond promptly to system alarms, perform diagnostic tests, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
-Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
-Work independently and under pressure to meet scheduled maintenance deadlines and respond to unexpected issues.
-Demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols and procedures in all field activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong electronic or mechanical aptitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient math skills for system calculations and measurements.

  • Methodical thinker with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and without direct supervision.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role.

  • Familiarity with odorization technologies and natural gas pipeline systems.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to odorization.

  • Technical certification or coursework in electronics, mechanics, or a related field.


Salary: $80,000-100,000
